Meet Our Founder

Latherio Agoff

Limitless Outdoors is a nonprofit founded by Latherio Agoff, a family man who lives in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. He has a lifelong passion for hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors, a love that began while growing up in the Louisiana bayou. Today, he coaches high school football and remains deeply committed to serving his community.

" I have lived my entire life with a physical disability. For many years, that disability shaped how I saw myself and what I believed was possible. I often felt limited in everyday life, not just in what I could physically do, but also in where I felt I truly belonged. Through those seasons, my faith became an anchor, reminding me that my life had purpose even when I struggled to understand why my path looked different from others.

Growing up, the outdoors was one of the places where those limitations felt the most real. I watched my brother and friends get ready to go duck hunting while I stayed on the sidelines, wanting to be part of those moments more than I can explain. When I was 13 years old, I reached a point where I no longer wanted to watch life happen from a distance. I began thinking differently and built a device that allowed me to shoot a gun using my mouth. That experience changed everything for me. It showed me that CIRCUMSTANCES DO NOT GET THE FINAL SAY, and that with faith, creativity, and perseverance, new possibilities can open.

Once I was able to experience the outdoors fully, it became deeply therapeutic for me. Being outside, feeling the wind, hearing the water, and witnessing the beauty of creation gave me a sense of peace and freedom that I had been missing. Out there, I did not feel defined by my disability. I felt present, capable, and quietly connected to something greater than myself. That journey is what led me to start Limitless Outdoors, and it’s why I am so passionate about helping others with disabilities experience the outdoors in a way that feels accessible, meaningful, and renewing. I want others to see what I have learned through my own journey, that with faith and the right support, they are far more capable than they may ever realize. "
